I was given this multifunctional NYX highlighter for an honest review and I’m glad that I had that opportunity.
I’m going to tell you about my experience with the NYX Away We Glow Illuminating Powder that has positively surprised me.
The highlighters accomplish your look and give you some glow without overweighing your makeup.
I was given two shades: SHIMMER THRILL 02 and CANDLELIT 03. Each shade in the product can be used alone or mixed together with accompanying shades.
The packaging reminds me of an eyeshadow palette. A transparent plastic cap lets us see the shades. Each package has 4 matte and shimmering colors. You can use them separately or blend them together.
The texture is dry, finely milled and has a nice cosmetics scent.
The collection is available in 6 shades to create your own bright or everyday makeup.
I use CANDLELIT 03 for an evening makeup, as it has lots of deep sparkling hues. It gives a gorgeous glow to my skin by lamplight. As a result, the look is so festive and bright. I’m going to use this product for my Office Christmas Party.
I apply all the shades together to my cheekbones.
As for the SHIMMER THRILL 02, I use it in my daily makeup. It has both matte and shimmering shades that can give a soft and gentle glow to my skin when mixed together. I apply them to my cheekbones for contouring.
I use the lightest shade under my browbones, thus emphasizing them.
