I cannot do without a blush in my everyday makeup. It’s necessary for my fair skin. With a sweeping stroke I can make my face look bright and attractive. Usually I choose a regular pink shade. I think it suits my skin tone better. Besides, it’s appropriate almost for any occasion.
NYX Ombre Blush Sweet Spring is not an ordinary pink shade, because it’s a gradient blush consisting of 2 shades - bright pink and warm peach. It seems that there is more of the pink than of the peach color.
Weight: 8 g
The first shade is peachy, the second one is pink:
If you look at it closely, you can see that the blush is not matte, but shimmering. It makes your skin shine a little bit. I love this effect, as it looks like if my skin is shining from the inside. Moreover it’s highly pigmented. I’m more careful now after I applied too much of it at the first try It’s better to apply it little by little. Thus you can get the right amount on your cheeks.
There’s no sense to use these colors separately, except for the experiment’s sake. I prefer picking up the in-between shade, so I get the mix of pink and peach colors.
The blush goes a really long way. I haven’t noticed any difference in the amount of the product after using it for several weeks. It still looks like new. By the way, I’d like to note that the product has a very nice packaging made of quality plastic with a mirror inside. There are no sponge or brush attached.
The texture is very soft and silky, but it doesn't blend easily due to its high pigmentation (be careful when applying).
As I’ve said already, you can achieve a soft and delicate flush on your cheeks:
Or you can apply more of it and it would look like this:
It lasts the whole day on my combination skin (if I don’t touch my face). I really like this blush considering that it’s a little goes a long way and the price is reasonable.
