The product is packed with a small tube and a thin nozzle. There was no protective membrane inside. I was rather surprised because it’s a common occasion even for the cheapest tubes, you know.
The consistency of the cream is thick to some extent. It doesn’t leak and really reminds me of a fluid.
The pigmentation here is thick.
I guess that sometimes it can also be used alone if you set it with a translucent powder. But still, I’m not sure because when the product is used alone, it usually sets into small skin crevices and fine lines. The pigment offers a matte finish, so make sure to give it at least two minutes for a setting. My skin feels smooth and silky with it on, not so silky as though I applied a foundation.
It smells like glue to me. Don’t you think so? However, when I mix it with my foundation, the smell disappears.
My perfect foundation shade is the shade #01, which is the first one in the color line-ups. Ivory, I should say. But there’s always something going wrong when I choose a foundation for me at stores. In the end, I get very upset. In reality, that foundation either looks too dark or terribly red on my face. I’ve already calmed down that I can’t choose the right foundation shade for me. But the NYX product is the best mixer out there. I adore it and wish I bought it earlier!

I love the result of this product but the shade is wrong for my skin. The consistency of the product is lightweight and runny. The shade is more red-toned and in general, it’s one shade darker than I need. After application, my face and neck look like these are two different people.
How to correct it?
I mix 3-5 drops of the NYX white pigment with one portion of the foundation. I mix them in a specially bought mixing tube. This amount will be enough for me to use for 2 times. After that, I mix them again or mix them right before my makeup application.

The “perfect match” word combination is overused already. But this foundation becomes really PERFECT for me if I mix it with the right amount of the mixer. The pigment beautifully whites out the undesired red or dark pigments leaving the consistency absolutely the same. I love how it fights the red pigment. I compared my face and neck shade under daytime light and now, there’s no difference between them. The product stays on an entire day.
I can’t believe it that my “red hell” turned into ivory so nicely.

Cons: My flaking skin patches become more visible if I wear this mixer. In my book, the product is dry, as though it’s totally deprived of any moisturizing components (I haven’t checked its ingredients list, I don’t bother about them in this product). But the official site states that the finish here is silky.
