I was looking for a vinyl lipstick. I wanted it to be bright and bold and red. And the very first makeup store that I visited was NYX. The sales girls advised me to try Slip Tease Full Color Lip Lacquer. I bought it and now I can’t say that I have an ambivalent impression of it…

♡Texture. It’s runny, thick and colored. In general, it’s pretty heavy and I can feel that oily finish on my lips, even if I wear it with one layer.
♡One coat is enough for a glossy and vibrant coverage.
♡ I recommend you use a lip liner for the best results.
♡ I like the way the product appears on my lips, this is exactly what I was looking for.
However, in action, everything is not as nice as it might seem.
I have found some disadvantages:
The product is staining. I can’t eat or drink with it on, even if I do it very carefully, otherwise, all the beauty turns into a huge messy red stain around my pout. By the way, it’ll be tricky to wash off that red pigment from a white cup.
One clumsy movement and you’re all covered with lipstick:
I still can’t get how it was possible to smudge it this way.
You have to be absolutely careful if you’re wearing white clothes because it’ll be almost impossible to wash the stains off.
The formula isn’t long-wearing. It starts budging within an hour and a half, feathering all around my mouth. And it looks so messy then.
By the way, you’ll have to use micellar water to touch-up. A tissue paper will never do the job.
In a nutshell, the product isn’t practical. If I go out for some time, leave for university or just go shopping, I don’t wanna use this lippie because it requires so much mumbo-jumbo. I don’t find it convenient.
Overall: the product looks good, but it isn’t enough. For me, this lipstick isn’t full, because I can’t leave my house wearing it. I can’t even drink water because any wrong move brings red stains for my pout, which can be removed only with some special makeup removers.
That’s why this product just lies somewhere in my makeup pouch, waiting for an occasion to apply it to take a photo or maybe there’ll still a day to apply it.
