Hey there!

I’m the person who is rather indifferent to highlighters and illuminating powders. However, given all that, I still have a highlighter which makes my heart beat faster. This is is - Ofra in collab with Nikkietutorials Cloud 9.

Let’s have a quick view on its characteristics and after that look at it in action.

✔ Outer appearance: the highlighter is placed into a rather heavy plastic compact, which was initially packed with a cardboard box of the same color.

The design is simple, sleek and no way cheap-looking. The compact is made of a thick plastic, which is proof against scalds and scratches. The lettering doesn’t fade out and in general, looks like brand new now.

The top lid opens up easy-breezy (yet it eliminates pop opening).

It can be opened up 90 degrees.

The mechanism here is soft, as though I open the TF palette. By the way, the mirror inside is good and at first, it was covered with plastic tape. No brushes or sponges provided.

✔ Texture: the texture of the highlighter is soft and even gel-like by touch. It can be a little bit dusty, though it’s still not enough to stain the packaging.

Thanks to this texture, it’ll be very easy to create a glowing and polished skin finish. The highlighter is nice to blend out and it never defines my skin texture. It can be packed freely, so you won’t ever overdo it.

It doesn’t show any patchy finish - just perfection to use. Even if you’re a newbie in makeup, you’ll still get along with it.

✔ Shade: Cloud 9 is an unbelievably beautiful duochrome color - that golden fleck can vary from either cool to warm undertone, depending on the lights.

It consists of a lot of shiny beautiful specks which are weightless yet still visible on the skin. Even under the electric lights, this highlighter still appears delicate and neat. Even though it’s really well packed with pigments, the finish seems delicate and gentle. You can easily create active and glowing skin with it when you pack it but you’ll never overdo it.

The shade is so versatile that it can also be applied as an eyeshadow or on top of a lipstick or a lip gloss. The collection also offers the shade Space Baby which also seemed to be alluring for me. But that shade is more cool-toned, which is more like a frosty-blue duochrome.

Size - 10g

Price: $35

And now, it’s time to look at the product in action, I mean makeup.

Use and results

I use this product on a daily basis and I never feel fed up with it. I reach it all the time. I apply it over the standard areas: upper part of my cheekbones, inner corners of my eyes, bridge of my nose.

Despite my enlarged pores and uneven skin texture, the highlighter still looks smooth over it and never defines any texture. No problems with it here.

I can easily fit it into my daytime makeup thanks to that delicate and thin color that doesn’t appear odd on my skin.

Performance

Nothing negative here. The product stays put the entire day, it doesn’t feather, budge or splits with chunky bits on my skin.

What’s my final opinion?

Ofra highlighter has truly become one of my most favorite ones!

I adore its softest texture, gel-like consistency, and that complicated color. Plus, fuss-free application and easy blending make it really the best product of 2018 for me.

Thanks for your attention! See you! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
