After all these reviews praising the Murumuru Bronzer, I was curious to try it out.
The summer was coming, which is the high time for bronzers, and I waited for a discount to buy this one.
After two weeks with this product I can say that I’m a bit disappointed with it. It isn’t bad, but I expected more.
Let’s begin with its fragrance. When I was testing this bronzer in the store, it seemed okay. However, once I bought it I realized that this overly sweet scent irritated me. It doesn’t linger on my skin and doesn’t follow me, but still, it makes me sick.
I don’t like that the mirror and the bronzer are in different compartments, so I have to pick up the bronzer with my brush, close the compartment with the bronzer and open the compartment with the mirror. Waste of motion. Would it be better to place the bronzer and the mirror together and put the sponge in another compartment instead?
The sponge is useless by the way, and applies the bronzer unevenly. I prefer a regular brush.
The bronzer isn’t really highly pigmented.I opted for the color Light Bronzer because I’d read that the second shade is too dark and reddish.
The packaging is beautiful and convenient, the latch works softly and you don’t have to break your nails.
Due to the crumbly formula the bronzer spends quickly.
I apply it onto foundation, and it's easy to blend out.
Just don't touch your face, otherwise you risk smudging the bronzer.
