I think that a woman without a lipstick is like a woman without clothes. I mean you can’t leave your lips undressed. It was impossible to withstand the temptation to order a set of 5 lipsticks of nude colors for daily wear.
A set of five nude lipsticks.
Take your beauty kit up a level with Revolution Pro Lipstick Collection Bare. Containing a mix of warm and cool nude shades in a creamy satin formula, this set is ideal for the creation of natural, plumped up lip looks.
About the price
$9.00 for a bundle of 5 lipsticks? Are they kidding us? That’s the bomb!
About the packaging
The lipsticks were packed in a regular cardboard box which was sealed. All the product info was also given there.
As for the lipsticks, they are plastic bullets with the color-coded bottoms. But since they appear almost the same and nude, it isn’t much helpful.
About the consistency and aroma
The formula feels gliding over my lips. It’s always very convenient to use them. However, such formulas usually have huge spending. I didn’t like that they aren’t pigmented enough. The coverage may be patchy and I have to pack them for the descent payoff. The formulas are comfortable and lip-friendly. They don’t dry out my skin.
There’s no scent, even though I love it when my makeup is scented.
Let’s have a look at the shades? By the way, I only have 4 of them because I presented my colleague from work with a red-toned shade at once. It was too dark for me.
Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cera Microcristallina, Cera Alba, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Silica, Mica, Propylparaben, BHT, CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 45410, CI 15850, CI 15850:1, CI 77499.
About the results
The lipsticks feel rather comfortable on my lips. However, since the formula is pretty runny, they feather and bleed. Thank God, the shades aren’t vibrant and that bleeding isn’t so obvious. I think I’ll wear them in winter with love because the formula is skin loving.
I don’t like it at all that the products don’t actually have any staying power. These are more like lip glosses.
And now, close-ups of the shades.
Gentle pink shade, called Audrey Hepburn:
And this is Sophia Loren:
This one I call Elizabeth Taylor:
And that one is Gina Lollobrigida for me:
About ethical aspect
The product wasn’t tested on animals.
Overall thoughts
I’m 100% sure that I won’t repurchase these lipsticks. The quality sucks, even though the formula is wearable and pretty comfortable. But these lippies are hard to wear. I mean they bleed, patch and settle into my lip fine lines.
