I first heard about this concealer from beauty bloggers, who were literally singing praises to it. I quickly decided that I need it too. I’m always on a lookout for my ideal concealer and I have to confess that I’ve already tried so many of them. For a year, this product has been on my wishlist, since it’s rather pricey ($36) and I didn’t want to throw it away, in case I didn’t like it.

And finally, during sales, I could finally afford to buy it myself.
The concealer comes with 5 shades:
00: Our lightest shade for the true snow whites.
11: A pale shade with a subtle yellow base.
22: Our biggest seller. With its yellow base, this shade is great light-medium skin tones.
33: A slightly warm tan color.
44: A darker tan color, which can also be used for creating a tanned effect or for contouring if desired.
I opted for the shade #11 which has yellow undertones. My skin is fair but not porcelain. Usually, I opt for the fairest concealers from the collection but here I chose the shade #11 because it has yellow undertones, the same as my skin. As for me, I can’t detect in on my face.
By the way, you can use it as a foundation. Right here I want to say that I don’t use it as a foundation product at all. In general, I don’t use any foundations. I can hardly ever apply BB or CC cream over my skin. I tried to apply this concealer over my pores, but I wasn’t impressed with the results. The product just settled there and it looked like enlarged pores clogged with a foundation. I guess you get what I mean.
As always the list of ingredients is perfection:

I was afraid that this concealer would crease or disappear too quickly from my skin because it’s got too many oils in the ingredients but no! My under eye skin can be dry from time to time and many other concealers usually accentuate that dryness. But here nothing of that kind has ever happened. I even tried to apply it over the driest patches and I liked the outcome. The only gripe is that this concealer isn’t able to cover up my red spots or pimples, because it isn’t pigmented enough. However, it’s so beautiful under my eyes. My dark under eye circles are rather active and I get enough coverage from this concealer. Moreover, it provides my skin with moisture, which is so pleasant and important for my under eye area.
As for me, I haven’t tried wearing this concealer without an eye moisturizer applied beforehand, but I believe that if your skin isn’t too dry, you can do it with ease.
The jar is made of glass and the top cap is metal. All in all, it looks decent. I don’t get into the jar with my fingers. I just scoop out the right amount with a spatula, apply it on my hand and then smear all over my under eye area and skin blemishes. If some skin woes remain visible, I take another concealer and apply over this one or don’t do anything at all. After all, the most important thing for me is to camouflage my dark circles and fill in my brows. :):)I’m really glad that the product goes a long way. In the jar, the formula seems to be stiff but it melts down once I touch it with my fingers. After that, it isn’t a problem to apply it. I didn’t like sponge or brush application. Only fingertips!
Before/After
With and without a flashlight
I’m head over heels with the way this concealer looks on my skin. It gives a tad dewy finish (after all there are oils in the components) and if I take pictures of me with a flash, it looks like a highlighter then. Awesome!
