I adore lip glosses and my collection of them is growing progressively. And if a lip gloss is also good lip care, then this product becomes a staple product of my makeup pouch.
And today I want to tell you about one of such staples which is Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight Lip Oil.
The design of the Italian Sisley makeup doesn’t rock my socks off. Their branded animal print doesn’t seem to be my cup of tea. However, I love this one a lot.
The packaging is a thick plastic tube which isn’t easy to scratch or scald. But it does collect all my fingerprints. The top cap has the branded logo on it, which is a big letter S. There’s also a small see-through window which makes the shade inside visible.
Size - 6 ml.
Made in Italy.
Shelf life - 24 months of use.
The product has a really gentle cream-gel consistency, which is soft and comfortable on my lips. The shade is semi-sheer and it doesn’t cover up my natural lip pigment.
It doesn’t accentuate flaking, doesn’t feather or crease on my lips.
The tacky sensation is minimal. In general, the performance of this product is good.
Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight Lip Oily might be a regular lip gloss for me if only not that slight problem! Its skin care properties are on fleek!
Right after the application, the formula smoothes out all my lip blemishes, making my lips beautiful and hydrated. No, it doesn’t look like chapstick on my lips at all.
The hydration is great! Once the coverage is soaked up or eaten, my lips still look fantastic! Also, when it’s cold, I appreciate that my lips are protected from frost and restored so well that I don’t even have to use any other lip balms.
Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight comes with 3 shades in the color line-up. For me, I picked up #3, which is bright and coral.
Staying power - about an hour or an hour and a half. It’s standard for this kind of a product.
Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight Lip Oil is an ideal lip gloss/lip balm which is so lip-friendly! I love it for its fuss-free application, neutral shade, lip-friendly components and beautiful packaging.
Is it worth the money it costs? That’s questionable. I wouldn’t recommend saving money for it but if you have a chance to buy it, then do it!
