I’ve tried a lot of finishing sprays, and this one really works. It creates the lightest invisible film, leaving no cakey-ness and making my face glow with health. I have a small pkg of 20 ml with a convenient spray.
Why did I buy only 20 ml.? Because I don’t like to waste my money, despite the praising reviews by the famous beauty bloggers and my make-up artists colleagues. Besides, there are also these sprays in the Oil Control and Bridal editions, which are aimed on oily skin or special occasions, wedding, for example. And I want to try them out too.
Will I ever buy this finishing spray again? Definitely YES! But, at first I will treat myself with the mini-size of other editions, and only after that I’ll make up my mind and buy the full sized one.
It’s summer now, and I have really bad skin. There are pimples, my face is usually oily only in the T-zone, but now, it has become really oily everywhere and starts to shine in 2 hours after my make-up is applied. Even if I apply a mattifying foundation and powder, it doesn’t help. In 4 hours my face is oily as never before. This is how my skin reacts to the heat. I describe all these factors for you to understand what conditions I was testing the product in.
For best results: Shake well. Apply over makeup. Spray 2-4 times in an "X" and "T" formation.
I’m too lazy to follow the "X" and "T" formation and apply the spray in a random way, but the efficacy is still the same.
To carry out the test, I applied the spray after my foundation, powder, concealer, blush, brow products and mascara - a lot of mascara and went to the gym. But I applied the spray only on my right (if you look in the monitor) side of my face, as I believe that it’s the only way to see if the product really works well.
My feelings:
I didn’t notice any oily film, but on my mirror you can clearly see that there is some.
The only thing that I noticed was a slightest irritation on my bare lips with no balm or lippie on.
So, I understood that I need to apply this finishing spray only on my face pursing my lips. I try to avoid any thick textures, since the spray displays this cakey-ness well. Unfortunately, you can’t see it in the photo.
One more notable thing is that my blush, contouring product and powder look brighter if I spritz this product on my face. It can’t be visible in the photos, but if it’s a commercial make-up, I apply this product, and the faces of my clients start to glow brighter. And I noticed it even after the first use.
PHOTO IN 2.5 IN THE GYM without any air conditioner in a heat. I didn’t use any blotting paper or powder.
What are the results? My left side of the face is dreadfully oily. I can’t say that the right one is totally matte, but the difference is visible! On the both sides I touched my sweaty face and now we can see that on the left side there’s a huge space without any foundation. The right side is also a bit “broken” but there are a minimum of foundation patches.
Conclusion: this product works, and from this very moment it’s a must-have for me for the job and own usage. This finishing spray is way better than Urban Decay, MUFE and MAC. It suits sensitive skin. There are also primers in the spray form by Skindinavia, also oil and paraben free, which I definitely want to try out.
