I found this Smashbox PHOTO FINISH LASH PRIMER in one of the beauty boxes. At that time my mascara had started to dry down, hence performed so so. That was the perfect moment for this primer to step in.

About the product:
Photo Finish Lash Primer primes lashes and makes mascara lasts longer. It exposes the fullest lash length to increase the look of lash volume. The ultra-thin comb delivers clean, clump-free separation. The formula also helps prevent mascara from flaking and smudging.
How I use it:
1. First of all, I brush my lashes through with a regular lash brush.
2. After that, I use a curler. I know that it may be not good for the lashes but I can’t imagine my life without it anymore. 
:)
3. Then I apply the primer with the short bristles.
4. The next step is when I comb my lashes through with the long bristles.
5. Right after, I apply my mascara.
What are the CONS of using this primer:
1. The most important thing about it for me is that my mascara holds on better! It doesn’t fall out or anything! The primer proved that it can extend the shelf life of my mascara.
2. It lengthens my lashes. Not much, but I can see that they appear longer.
3. The brush is super! Thanks to this brush, my lashes are super combed, fanned and never clumped. This is what they are before I apply the mascara!

To the drawbacks list, I state the price tag. Since the shelf life of the primer is only 6 months, that’s a rather pricey treat. Besides, if you use high-end mascara the total price will be huge. And that’s only for the lashes and only for 6 months.
Maybe, there are some more affordable dupes on the market. I haven’t checked them out yet.
