I could never get lash primers. However, once I purchased some products from the official site, they presented me with a deluxe sample of this primer. So, I tested it out.
Packaging: white tube. The brush is also white and rather stiff. It offers two types of bristles: short ones for application and longer ones for lash combing.
Mind those long bristles because they’re rough and you can easily scratch eyelids with it.
I wish they would have a regular or silicone brush here.
The full price for this primer is $23
Fill weight: 9ml
Application: the brush doesn’t take out too much, so at first I use the tip of the brush to apply the product and then comb with a brush. Somehow, I can’t cover my lashes fully with it.
Results: For clarity, I want to show you my nude lashes. I find them okay length-wise. But they’re straight and I’d like to get more volume, separation, and length from this primer.
Here I have one coat of mascara over the primer. You see, it’s difficult to coat my lashes from the side of my lids and they remain white there. Besides, I absolutely dislike it when the primer clumps them. I’m not a fan of such results.
To get more obvious results, I added one more coat of the same mascara.
In my opinion, two bare layers of mascara get better results and look more voluminous and fanned.
The only good thing might be that my mascara doesn’t stain my lids if I use this primer.
I don’t like it because this primer:
clumps my lashes together
it doesn’t increase the volume
my lashes look better without it
For the money it costs, you can buy a better mascara which will amplify lift, increase volume and fan your lashes. For instance, this one.
