It was a little bit more than a year ago when I first met the brand. That was love at first sight! So, I was waiting for this foundation more than anything because it stands out with its claims of full matte coverage without any cakey or dead matte finish.
A weightless, 24-hour, full-coverage foundation with oil and shine control that is also waterproof, sweat resistant, and won’t look cakey or cause blemishes.
Highlighted Ingredients:
- Kaolin Clay with Bamboo Powder: Controls oil and shine.
- Hyaluronic Acid: Nurtures skin.
- Vitamin E: Protects skin against environmental aggressors.
It feels like this is the first foundation ever that’s infused with those ingredients

So, I’m 25 years old and my skin is mixed oily shine- and dehydration-prone due to constant breakouts. Last week, I had a long trip where I didn’t have a chance to cleanse my skin thoroughly and apply a moisturizer. So, naturally, my skin rebelled and now I suffer from breakouts and reactive skin. But the most important thing is that my skin is flaking now.

In the pictures, you can see how unhealthy and tugged my skin is now.
Before this foundation application, I apply my moisturizer over my cleansed skin (it nicely covers up my flaking skin bits). I let it sink for 10 minutes and then primer my skin. After that, I apply this foundation 10-15 minutes later with a damp beautyblender.

The coverage is high and even though cakey (moisturizer, primer, foundation), it still feels very lightweight on my skin. The product nicely covers up my reddening and pimples. However, it accentuates my flaking skin, no matter the primer.

The product stays put throughout the day: no creasing or sitting in my pores. No oxidizing either.
My skin doesn’t shine with oil with this foundation (however, that may be due to the mattifying primer I used).
The foundation appears natural in any light. There’s no mask-esque finish and in general, the flaking skin bits are visible only from close distances.
The Full Coverage foundation doesn’t make my skin break out, as promised. Also, it doesn’t clog my pores which I used to dread, given the coverage.

I’m sure that you’ll be raving about it if your skin is either mixed or oily sheen prone and oily. It’s noteworthy that problematic skin will also love it!
As for me, I’ll have to put it aside for a little while and moisturize it more to get rid of dehydration.
