Today I want to tell you (and most importantly - to show) the beautiful STILA Eyes Are The Window Eyeshadow Palette in SOUL, which is the most wearable and attractive palette from the entire romantic collection. It was a truly right choice and I have a lot of fun with this palette.
The swatches are presented in the order from left to right, from top to bottom WITHOUT EYESHADOW BASE. All the shades have individual names, which are indicated on the bottom of the palette; I do not want to overload the review with unnecessary information.
The quality of the eye shadows is great! I would say that it is excellent, but since I have not tried other existing brands yet, I will not expatiate in praise about the palette, but briefly summarize that I have no complaints about the quality of the eyeshadows.
I wear them without a base, and some of the shades can fade by the end of the day, but mostly the eyeshadows stay put all day and all night.
Excellent color payoff - even matte shades (there are 5 in the palette) don’t fall out and they stick to the eyelid.
My only theoretical wish is to have slightly more matte shades, because they are my go to shades, and if there were 6 of them instead of the 5, I would be even more satisfied. But nevertheless, the remaining satin and shimmery shades are just as beautiful.
I love it for the variety of basic colors: there are golden and burgundy ones, and there is also a sparkling wet asphalt. And look at the matte ones... It's just a work of art for nude make-up!
At first I thought that such a number of different sparkling shades is not justified, but later they all turned out to be different and unique, and each plays its part in my makeup.
I use the palette mainly for light daytime makeup, the most common option is to darken the crease with the darkest of the matte colors (the third in the first row), and all the other three matte colors serve as chic transitional colors for blending, making the eyelid appear even.
The darkest (black) shade for me is ideal for drawing nude eyeliners: it doesn’t fall out and can be used to draw even lines.
I love the mirror as well - it’s large, convenient for creating a full-fledged make-up, opens 200 degrees, which allows you to see the entire face. When I use this palette, I do not even need an ordinary large mirror, because this one is more than enough.
I also use the wet asphalt color to enhance the lower lid, along with some of the satin shades. It gives a remarkably refreshing look, especially if the rest of the eye makeup is made of matte shadows:
