I tried hard to apply it well. Buying this lipstick, I was hoping to get a matte velvet coverage in a gorgeous red-burgundy color. But this lipstick had some other plans for me.
Color Beso 10
I was attracted by its color: blood red, “delicious”, vampire ideal red color for any evening make-up. The shop assistant told me about the great properties of this lipstick, its staying power and I had nothing to do but buy it.
My first impression of this product was great. The packaging was cute, the stuff but not the fluff, the swatch was stunning and the scent was "Wow, divine!" Sweet caramel. I was so happy
I was ready that the application would be rather difficult, since the lipstick is red and matte. But I couldn't even guess to what extent it was difficult to work with.
No matter how much I tried, I still couldn’t do anything about it. I tried to contour my lips, it didn’t work. The lip pencil didn’t save the situation either. I just stretched and rubbed my skin around lips and that’s all. The lipstick dried up immediately, I couldn’t correct my mishaps even with a wet q-tip. I looked in the mirror and was shocked as there were stains of lipstick all over my face. In general, my lips were as dry as the Sahara desert, my skin around lips was rubbed, there was a feeling of tightness, impaired mood and and a lot of time wasted. Geez!
The color is gorgeous, it’s intense and matte. Its texture seems well initially, but it’s impossible to apply it evenly. Or maybe you should be a make-up guru.
It dries and tightens my lips. When I apply it, I’m really afraid to open my mouth, it’s terrible. After I removed this product, there were still stains of pigment on my lips reminding me of the “divine lipstick”. Moreover, this product stains my teeth as well. And to remove it from my teeth was really challenging.
Maybe the result is okay, but application…no, it’s horrible.
Two stars, for the color only.
