Greetings!
I’ve been longing to try lipsticks from this amazing woman for a really long time, and my choice fell on this very matte lipstick.
I bought one of the most neutral shades, namely Lolita II. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a red lipstick in the color Outlaw as a gift in a beauty box!
The brand claims:
Now in 42 creamy shades, this breakthrough liquid lipstick gives lips long-lasting wear and high-pigment color. Its creamy, color-rich formula glides over lips as effortlessly as a gloss, but dries to a true matte finish that feels weightless all day long. It’s infused with natural comfort-enhancing ingredients, including vitamin E and sunflower seed so you can flaunt lasting matte color.
Main information:

Should be used within a year after opening. The shelf-life of the untouched lipstick is 2 years.

Outer box and applicator
The lipstick comes in a cardboard box with a beautiful Gothic design. Inside, it’s adorned with stars, outside - with black roses and brand lettering.
The lipstick itself is housed in a long plastic tube. The longest in my collection, in fact. There are roses on the handle as well, which makes it so alluring and girlish.
The applicator is ordinary, not so big, slanted. When I saw it, I instantly started comparing it to that of Sephora Lipstick.
The applicators do look alike, but the one from Kat is more slanted, which allows you to paint the corners of the mouth more precisely.
The smell is surprisingly nice and sweet.
Swatches and looks
The lipsticks are easy to swatch; they leave no patches. The formula is soft and creamy. Another similarity to Sephora, but these are completely different.
Swatches under natural light:
Let me compare three similar lipsticks:
- This one is soft and creamy, I don’t feel it on my lips. May feel sticky at first, but then it dries and gives a matte finish. Lasts till a fatty meal. Can survive tea and fruits. Doesn’t dry my lips out.
- Sephora lipsticks are more lightweight and oily. Many colors feel sticky even after 20 minutes after application. Matte till the next snack. Do not dry my lips out.
- LaSplash lipsticks are creamy and thick, and feel heavy on my lips. Can survive any meal. After removal, may dry out my lips.
I love the lipsticks from Kat as my daily must have. They don’t turn my lips into raisins, I don’t feel them at all. Even though they are more expensive, I think they are worth it.
I think, the red lipstick from Kat is the best among my red colors. It looks truly gorgeous, rich and eye-catching.
I love the color Lolita for every day. It suits any warm makeup and is my total fave this fall.
Removing
This lipstick can’t be removed with wet wipes. Use only a bi-phase lotion or a cleansing oil, or something for long-wearing makeup.
Summarizing, I can only say that this lipstick won me over with its design and formula. Plus, there are so many colors in the range!
