Hello everybody!
The hero of my review today is an eyeshadow palette by Tarte In Bloom.
When I visited the Tarte website I couldn’t help but purchase two eyeshadow palettes by this brand at once. I used to think that I would keep one palette for me (the one I’d like more) and the other I’d gift to somebody. But when they both were delivered and when I looked through them thoroughly, I understood and I just could say goodbye to neither of them. The first thing that I was deeply impressed by in this Tartelette In Bloom palette was its smell (the other Tartelette Matte eyeshadow palette doesn’t have it). And the shades of course…
But first things first:
Package: the palette arrived in the same designed box.
On the back of it you can see the full product description.
The box also had a step-by-step guide (with the same information on both sides)
And of course the beautiful palette itself with the flowers on it.
There’s also a big mirror provided with the “Tartellette” caption.
Design: The palette is plastic and the top lid is richly adorned with magenta-pink-purple petals and the “Tartelette In bloom" caption.
The rest of the palette is shiny and mirrored. On the back there’s all the needed information given, like the full name of the product, country of origin and expiration dates.
Country of origin: the USAThe size of each refill is 1.5 (there are 12 of them in total)
Price: $45
Wear time: the products are super longwearing, with a primer as well as without it. I guess this is all thanks to the amazonian clay which is in the ingredients.
Pigmentation: 5 stars
And let’s look at each shade separately:
Charmer (off white). It’s a nice base matte shade.
Jetsetter (warm taupe) I deem it may work as a brow powder for some people. It’s matte.
Rocker (shimmering taupe). If I hadn’t found its description on the internet, it would have been very difficult for me to describe this shade. Shiny finish.
Smokeshow (black brown). Classic black shade. Matte finish.
Flower child (peachy nude). This shade looks as though ashed. Matte finish.
Smarty pants (tan). Yellowish-brown. Nice shade for daytime makeup. Matte texture.
Firecracker (bronze copper). It’s great for evening makeup. Shimmer finish.
Activist (dark brown). This is a rather unusual color because of its non-standard black undertone. Matte finish.
Funny girl (champagne). I use it as an accent shade. Shimmer finish.
Sweetheart (peach). I was hooked on this tender shade at once. Matte finish.
Rebel. (chestnut brown). Well, it’s actually very far from being a rebel shade, but still I find it beautiful. Matte finish.
Leader (aubergine). I love such shades, this is why this color is my favorite.
Matte finish.
While I was waiting for my palettes to be delivered I read and watched a lot of reviews of them. There were many girls saying that the shimmer shades weren’t actually of good quality. And I completely disagree with them.
ALL the shades are very well-pigmented, easy to apply and blend out.
Overall: I highly recommend this Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette by Tarte. This is a gorgeous palette that is worth its money. Everybody will like it as there are warm- as well as cool-toned and neutral shades here!
Thank you everybody for your attention! See you soon
