Today I want to tell you about an eyeshadow palette by the Tarte brand which is called Tartelette In Bloom.
This palette is truly one of the most beautiful palettes that I’ve ever seen! The box is plastic and inside they have a mirror. The top lid opens for about 130 degrees.
There are 12 basic eyeshadow colors that will be so nice for any daytime makeup.
General info:
The weight of each refill pan is 1.5g.
The shelf life is 12 months.
Made in the USA
Close-up photo:
The texture of the products is super soft and pleasant. (In my opinion these eyeshadows are very similar to the Tom Ford eyeshadows in texture). The only gripe for me is that the products are infused with cocoa, that’s why they have such a strong smell.
Swatches:
The first quad:
Charmer - matte white shade that is nice to apply over the base and use for highlighting.
Jetsetter - taupe (brown-gray) shade with matte texture. It’s great for blending.
Rocker - shimmer shade which I use as an accent color
Smokeshow - cool-toned brown shade for the darkening the crease
The second quad:
Flower Child - oh, this is my fave! Milky beige, versatile shade.
Smarty Pants - warm-toned brown blending shade
Firecracker - rusty shimmer shade
Activist - warm brown darkening shade which I rarely use.
The third quad:
Funny Girl - faint basic shimmer shade. This color is also one of my favorites.
Sweetheart - matte shade with a hint of lilac note to it
Rebel - warm brown hue
Leader - dark matte aubergine shade
And now let’s pass over to the makeup looks done with this palette.
I applied the Flower Child to lock the primer. The Jetsetter is here in the crease and lower lids. The mobile lid is done with the Smarty Pants shade. And the Activist is applied to deepen the dark outer shade.
The
Firecracker is here over the mobile lid, the
Rebel is in the crease. The
Leader is used as a darkening shade and the
Funny girl in the inner corners.
Again the primer is locked with the Flower Child shade. The Rebel is in the crease and the Sweetheart is all over the lower lid. The Leader is here over the mobile lid and the Smokeshow is used to darken the crease.
The wear time of these shades is excellent because they hold up till removing. I always apply them over the Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer. In my opinion the palette is more warm-toned overall. Some shades can show streaky pigment, so be careful with them.
