I hesitated whether I should buy this palette for a year. But when something gets into my wishlist, I always buy it. This was no exception.
I’m glad I bought it this fall. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have used these rather calm brown shades in the summer or spring. But first things first.
Design:
Let’s be honest. No one will be left indifferent. The case is a masterpiece, no less. It’s a minimalistic stylish case with a golden lining and brand logo. Two sponge applicators come with it. There is a big mirror which opens 180 degrees. It closes with a distinctive sound, like a hood of a Rolls Royce.
Applicators:
These are okay to work with, except for the short handles and hairs falling out. I think I would use them on trips.
Color combination
The most basic and noble shades for the fall. I’m sure such shades are loved by many girls.Formula:
The eyeshadows are soft and silky, and apply lightly like a veil, but also can be layered to achieve the desired richness of the color.
The eyeshadows are easy to blend. They don’t crumble or leave stains.
Colors:
- Milky Beige- Matte. Great as a base, makes the lid whiter and allows to achieve a clean transition between colors
- Sandy Beige- Matte. Can be used to darken the crease or as a transition color
- Brown, on a red base with golden shimmer- This is probably my favorite shade. Perfect for daily smokey eye makeup.
- Chocolate Brown- Matte, velvet. Just a right color for darkening the crease or corners of the eyes
Lasting power
These eyeshadows from Tom Ford don’t come off. Absolutely! They stay where where they belong until you wash them off. Now let me show you a few simple make-ups of mine:
The winged eyeliner is drawn with the thin brush and dark brown color. The quickest go-to makeup.
Smokey eye makeup for everyday. The photo is taken with a flash.
This palette is self-sufficient for a basic makeup and will suit any eye color.
Most of all, I like applying the darkest shade onto the whole lid or just the lower lid

It’s obvious that this palette can’t be used for various looks so sometimes I add more colors to this basic palette
Like a bit of blue sparkles
I’m not one of those who think that high-end makeup can grant wishes. And yet this eyeshadow quad lives up to the hype. It’s very easy to use and the colors look truly noble. I’m very happy with them and I’m going to replenish my collection with another quad from the line.
I can’t say these are a must have. But if you love beautiful stuff, I can totally recommend you consider this eyeshadow quad.
