Hello everybody!
I bought this Tom Ford eyeshadow Quad 08 Sahara Haze palette 7 months ago. And there was always something distracting me from writing a review of it. But all in all, I’m here today, posting my review of this classy product.
The design of the palette is off the top. It’s a big plastic compact of dark burgundy color with the TOM FORD logo that closes with magnets. (I really appreciate magnet closures). The palette was housed in a really cute and soft pouch (to protect the palette from dusting, but actually it seems to be dust collecting from all over my flat). Inside the palette you’ll find a big mirror along with two double sided applicators. I can’t say if the applicators are good or bad as I always use my MAC brushes to do makeup.
So the TOM FORD Eyeshadow Palette in the color 08 SAHARA HAZE.
1) Faint lemon color that is great as a pearl highlighter for my eyebrow bone and for the inner corners of the eyes.
2) The most difficult to describe color. It’s a mix of green and moss green colors that I use to apply in the crease and for blending out.
3) Dark gray, charcoal color with pistachio green shimmer particles that I use to apply to the outer corners and to the lower lashline.
4) Light gray pearl color that I use less often.
My experience with the Tom Ford eyeshadow palette:
The texture of the product is very soft, silky and easy to apply as well as blend out and together. I like the color payoff of them, as the shades look exactly as in the packaging. The only thing I’d like to say about is that the #2 color is a little bit drier than the others hence why it is dusty. But it isn’t a problem to correct this mishap. The colors combined very well in the palette as they perfectly compliment each other. My eyelids are oily, so I have to use a primer before any eyeshadow application. With a primer, the products stay on the entire day. And I’ve never used them without a primer, so I can’t comment on this matter.
