Pros: a little goes a long way, not dusty, quality made

I always avoided bronzers for some reason. I just always found it to be useless. I appreciate bright eye and lip makeup, but I’m not at all a fan of intense contouring with a blush or powder.

I thought that any bronzer would look like an awkwardly-looking orange spot on my face. To top it off, I gravitated towards weightless and natural-looking makeups.

However, once I watched a tutorial of a beauty blogger, the works of which I find really gorgeous and professional. And she said that if we applied a bronzer with a slight stroke, it would only make our skin look healthier. At that point I was really tired of looking pale, so I decided to give a bronzer a go. Then I remembered purchasing a Too Faced set with a sample of a bronzer. I wanted to gift it to someone, but then I simply forgot to do that.

The set includes the popular Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer with 2.5 g of the product and a Kabuki brush.

I don’t remember the price of the set, but the full-size with 8 g retails for $30 at the moment.

Here is a picture with ingredients:

This product is famous for its chocolate scent. Currently the brand has a good deal of scented products, for instance, the Sweet Peach or Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palettes. But as far as I know, this bronzer was the first of its kind back in the day. It smells quite potently when it’s open on my dressing table. So, it’s something to consider if you are not much into heavily-scented make-up.

However, I don’t feel it after applying, so the scent doesn’t bother me throughout the day.

I wanted it to have a dark chocolate scent, but it smells more like vanilla or Nesquik Hot Chocolate.

The product is available in 3 shades and I have it in Chocolate Soleil. I would have bought the lightest shade, if I was purchasing the full-size now.

It has a warm hint of orange that really looks like a natural tan. The main thing is not to overdo it. The bronzer is matte and can be used as eyeshadow for smokey eyes or for darkening the outer crease.

Also, it’s highly pigmented! At first use I applied it so patchy, but thank God, the product blends out very easily. To tell you the truth, I would prefer using a less pigmented bronzer, but applying this one carefully is the solution.

On the plus side, it goes a really long way due to such pigmentation.

The set also includes a Kabuki brush that is very soft and nice to the touch. It’s made of synthetic bristles.

Moreover, it’s tightly packed and has a flat shape.

This brush is beautiful and quality made. However, it applies the bronzer in a pretty thick coat, so use it carefully.

It’s quite convenient to use due to its small size, but I think that you should better apply the bronzer with a fluffy and not so tightly packed brush.

To sum up, I loved this set. Plus, it goes really far. But I’d like to try the lighter shade if I happen to purchase the full-size product.

Milk Chocolate Soleil- Shade - lightmedium I can remember clearly that I bought this product about a year ago. It came packed with a beautiful golden black packaging. I thought that the compact itself would be glossy and metallic, but no, it has turned out to be matte and of sturdy plastic.
