I’m a loyal fan of the Better Than Sex mascara. I always try to keep it close to me in a travel-friendly packaging at least. But here, the brand recently launched this Damn Girl! mascara. And it was super pleasant to get a mini of it from Sephora as a thank you gift for a purchase.

About the price
The product retails in Sephora for $25 for the full size. The minis aren’t available at the moment. I can’t say that’s an affordable option but usually, the mascaras from the brand last for about 3 months and they still remain fresh, as though brand new, however, non-hygienic at all.

About the packaging
Honestly, such futuristic packages aren’t my cup of tea but it doesn’t play the main role when it comes to mascaras. The main here is the brush!

Here we have it regular, bristled and unusually shaped. At first, it gave me a real fright. I couldn’t imagine how on earth it could be possible to brush my short lashes with this brush. But then I started to use it very gently and after that, it’s become awesome!

About the consistency and aroma
The product is rather gooey, creamy and I love such consistencies because they don’t dry out my lashes, I guess. Sometimes, my lashes even break down when they’re dried. The color is black without any gray undertone.

About the results

Let’s coat them with one layer. By the way, I was shocked with the brush first. It seemed so huge. Later, I got used to it quickly.

Let’s brush my lashes two times. I think if your lashes are thicker, you won’t face the same problems as me. You see, my lashes are thin and they stick out to different sides and can’t be coated well. That’s why I don’t welcome silicone brushes. I need something more bristled and furry to grab my lashes.

No problems here. You’ll wash it off with any makeup remover. Once I even managed to get it to come off from water. No panda-esque finish.

The brand is absolutely ethical.

Well, I think I’ll turn to this mascara because I love it a little bit more than another best-selling brand mascara.
This one is really good by all means.
