Hello, friends!
Some time ago I received the SEPHORA box with the Too Faced products in it. The brand is striking for me because it’s animal-cruelty-free, besides, its founder is a very interesting makeup artist!
Since I had some problems with the box, I contacted Sephora and they sent me a set of deluxe samples!
So, among them, I’ve got:
🍑 Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer
The price for the full size is $34.

Made in Italy
I have a mini of 5ml

What’s this primer and what’s it for?
A cooling, mattifying primer that blurs, smooths, and brightens the complexion.
How to apply:
-Apply a small amount of primer to forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks.
-Then, blend product using your fingertips or a brush.
-The peach color becomes invisible once fully blended.
Let’s have a more thorough look at it:
Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer
The consistency is gentle, as though a cloud.
It looks like moussey souffle.
It’s pink but turns transparent on my skin.
The product is easy to spread. I mean, this amount will be enough to cover all the zones that must be mattified: forehead, nose and above the cheekbones.
My skin before:

My skin is mixed and more oily-shine prone.
My pores are enlarged, so I prefer long-wearing and mattifying foundations.
AFTER PRIMER APPLICATION:

In the picture, you might not see any difference. I’ll describe what I feel.
The primer is like souffle, it immediately covers and smoothes out my skin texture.
It’s a perfect base for my makeup. The primer doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s like a veiling cover between my skin and the foundation I use.
FOUNDATION
For this review, I decided to go for a foundation from the same brand - Too Faced BORN THIS WAY in the shade LIGHT BEIGE:
Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer
The product was perfect to apply. I can see they’re a good match. In fact, the foundation alone also works great.
AND MY FULL-ON MAKEUP LOOK:

The bottom line:
The primer does its job! My foundation stays put the entire day and there’s no oily shine! But, even without this primer, my foundation is able to stay put all 8-9 hours that I usually wear it. It doesn’t crease during that time and I can see only some moderate and delicate sheen.
The results are about mattifying my face and smoothing out my skin texture.
There are a lot of primers on the market. Some of them are truly flawless while others are super affordable. This one reminds me of another far-from-being-affordable Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer, which is also great at my pore erasing. As for a more affordable dupe, try out the one from Maybelline.
So, is this primer from Too Faced worth splurging?
40ml costs $34. I think that’s rather reasonable because you’ll need just the tiniest bit of it each time. Besides, the quality is top-notch.
I wish I could buy it for me.
HOWEVER, I don’t recommend saving money for it. I mean, if you can freely buy it without hurting your budget, then go ahead. Whilst, it isn’t worth saving and waiting. Have a look at the more affordable options then.
It’s not so difficult to get matte skin. Even the affordable primers can do so.
I give it 4 stars.
Thanks for your attention and see you in my next reviews!
