I can remember that day when I was visiting Sephora store and I wanted to buy the Naked 1 eyeshadow palette, but eventually went out with this Too Faced Matte Eye.
I was hooked on the cute design and magnet latch. The palette seemed so quality and sturdy. The cardboard case was so bright and eye-catching.
I heard a lot about the Too Faced eyeshadow quality, as much as of Urban Decay, I think.
As you can see the palette has lost its trade dress from 4 years of constant use. And some refill pans even have deep dents in them already.
I use this White color for setting my eyeshadow primer. That’s why it’s so weary.
The palette came with some “prompts” if you don’t know what makeup to create or you don’t know where to apply the shades. Each card offers 1 makeup look and in total, we have 3 options for every row of the colors.
On the back, you’ll find some general info from the maker.
The palette is said to expire within 12 months of opening but we all know that it’ll be okay to present it to your granddaughter for her 16th birthday, if you don’t manage to use it up for 30 years, of course.
The shades don’t look so vibrant without a primer rather than applied over it. And in the pictures, they all seem to be the same somehow. 😔 But take my word, there’s the fullest color selection of the dark shades presented: there are chocolate color and deep blue and charcoal gray.
My primer saved the swatches and you can see how PIGMENTED they have become.
Here I used the first row of shades for a daytime makeup:

I’m so pleased with this palette! ⭐️ It’s my own little helper ⭐️
I wish it was as hyped as its rival palettes at the proper time.
