Greetings!

A mascara is a staple product of many makeup pouches. As for me, I’m on a constant lookout for my perfect mascara. And it feels like I’ve found it.

After a flopping new mascara from Maybelline, I decided to look at some other priced mascaras. And this is how I met this Wander Beauty "Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara"

Size - 9g

Price - $24

Made in the USA

Where to buy - official site www.wanderbeauty.com or from Sephora

The product is animal cruelty-free. It’s gluten-, mineral oil- and synthetic fragrance-free which makes it a perfect option for sensitive eyes.

Product promises:

Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara takes lashes to new heights while strengthening and conditioning with a proprietary blend. The long-lasting formula is complete with an innovative brush that curls and separates for fuller-looking lashes. The hook-like brush has staggered bristles for allover angling to grab every lash for maximum drama. The uniquely shaped dome tip delivers precise bristles that grab even the tiniest lashes to lift and curl. Trehalose and peach leaf extract condition and moisturize, with a clump-free, flake-free, smudge-proof finish that won't dry out. Lashes are left full, gorgeous, hydrated and flirty.

Packaging

This mascara is different from what we've gotten used to seeing. It comes packed with a soft tube.

Actually, such packaging is the handiest because it’s easy to use up and squeeze out the leftovers.

In fact, it must have been packed with a cover, which I didn't find on mine and only saw in the YouTube videos. Whatever, it’s not such a big deal.

Brush - it’s curled with a classy, non-silicone bristles.

It’s super handy to use. It really does lift up my lashes and curls even the smallest and invisible hairs.

The fragrance is there and it’s a tad sweet. They state that they don’t use any synthetic fragrances, which I do believe. This might be the smell of the components the product is made of.

Consistency- It’s creamy and not too runny or dry. It’s ideal from the very first day I started using it.

Color - black

And now let’s look at it in action.

These are my nude lashes -

I can’t say that they are problematic but they are thin and fair at the tips.

The brush is perfectly sized - it’s neither big nor small.

I can coat my lashes without staining my upper lids.

I love using that “dome” of the brush to coat my lashes, especially for the dramatic curl.

These are my lashes with one coat of mascara:

As you can see in the photo, my lashes are coated well. They are lifted, separated and look really natural.

It’s a huge advantage that they still remain soft and not stiff.

Full-on makeup:

For my job or when I use fair eyeshadows for my eyes, one coat of this mascara is enough for me.

But since I also lined my eyes with darker eyeshadows for today’s photoshoots, my lashes seem to be screaming for one more layer.

Even with two coats of mascara on my eyes, they still don’t look heavy.

If you want, you can layer it but what for? As for me, it seems like I’m grown up past that period when I used to like all that heaviness on my lashes.

1-2 coats of Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara are enough for me now.

The product performs excellently during wear:

* it doesn’t make me allergic

* it doesn’t fall out by the end of the day. There’s no risk to finish my working day looking like a panda.

* the initial curl is there till the moment I remove the product. That fact is important for me because usually my thin lashes become too heavy and weigh down with mascara on.

* it doesn’t stain my upper lids.

* good curl, separation, lift and length for my lashes.

Removing:

The product is said to be wear-proof, though not waterproof. So, it’s easy to wash off with micellar water and warm water too.

It doesn’t leave any black spots behind.

No matter what angle I look at it, the product is perfect!

Currently, it’s already 2 months since I started using it and its consistency and performance are on fleek!

Yes, the price is 2 times higher than of a drug-store mascara. But this one is worth every cent!

In my book, high-end mascaras, which cost $30-40 are never worth the price. But this one is worth splurging!

I can recommend this mascara to everyone who seeks for a good lift, separated lashes, curl, no spider-legs finish and nice packing.
