Recently, I saw this product recommended by a famous makeup artist. It was so catchy, so I quickly bought it for me to try.
I bought it from Walmart and the price was about $3.
The blusher is packed into almost the same type of packaging as the branded highlighter. The top cap of plastic and the casing is black. The only difference is that the highlighter seems to be sturdier and as though pricier.
Here, everything is super simple.
The back of the compact has a sticker with the list of ingredients on it. Also, some info on the manufacturer.
The sticker is complete so at first, you’ll have to remove this sticker before opening the compact. Honestly, it always freaks me out when I remove the Wet n Wild stickers.
The top lid closes safely and you can be sure that it won’t pop open, even if you have to take it with you while traveling.
But I never recommend you drop this casing because it looks so flimsy indeed.
Inside, there’s a small brush but I can’t say a word about its characteristics because I’ve never used it. Visually, it isn’t so pleasant or of good quality.

The color line up offers several shades to choose from, I opted for the recommended 325В Pearlescent Pink. It’s a peachy-pink shade that has the smallest shimmer in its texture.
The product is dry but still rather pleasant to the touch. The grain is the finest, so it sits on my finger and brushes well. It does dust a little yet not as much as I was ready to see.
I’ve heard that they sometimes compare this shade with the NARS Orgasm. From me, I can see the similarity. Moreover, the Pearlescent Pink pleases me with its versatile shade which seems to flatter everyone. This is that very sure option among blush that you can buy without any thinking back whether it will suit you or not.
It’s noteworthy to say some things about its pigmentation.
Honestly, I could never even guessed that this Pearlescent Pink shade can be so pigmented yet still affordable price-wise.
I didn’t analyze the list of ingredients because I can’t see any point in that, considering the price for the item. But still, I’ll cite it lower if you feel that’s important for you:
Talc, Nylon-12, Boron Nitride, Ethyl Macadamiate, Dimethicone, Magnesium Myristate, Silica, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Phenoxyethanol, Polybutene, Lauroyl Lysine, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, o-Cymen-5-ol, Tocopherol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite (in 326B), Calcium Titanium Borosilicate (in 329B), Methicone (in 325B, 329B), Triethoxysilylethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Hexyl Dimethicone (in 326B), [+/- (MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR): Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Red 40 Lake/CI 16035, Manganese Violet/CI 77742, Titanium Dioxide/CI 77891, Mica, Red 7 Lake/CI 15850, Red 28 Lake/CI 45410, Carmine/CI 75470, Ultramarines/CI 77007, Red 6/CI 15850].
Attention! The Wet n Wild makeup is dermatologically tested and the brand doesn’t test on animals.
As I’ve already said, the product is well pigmented and it sits well on my skin. There are no patches, splotches or any other wooes in the coverage.
I love applying this Pearlescent Pink to top up my makeup, refreshing my entire complexion. And this very shade fits the bill. The shade is awesome.
By the way, even though I can see some shimmer in the texture of the product, it isn’t detectable on my skin.
That’s great because the finish always appears as natural as possible.
Let’s have a look at the shade once again (under artificial lights and with a flash):
Nothing difficult with this product. It’s better to apply with a fluffy and airy brush.
One can go overboard with it but that will be rather tough and difficult. The right brush and the tiniest bit of the product will always be your ways out.
I was impressed to discover its wear time. It stays put during the day and I can slightly touch-up towards the evening but as a rule, I don’t do it and feel enough with what I have on my face.
The spending is really moderate.
If you’re looking for an affordable blusher that will refresh your complexion, have a look at this Pearlescent Pink shade from Wet n Wild.
It just doesn’t have any gripes at all for me. I can feel free to recommend it to you!
