Hi!
Today’s review will be a little bit unusual, as I won’t describe one product but I’ll compare it with some other that is 3 or maybe even 4 times cheaper.
Highlighting and strobing are very popular nowadays. So, you’ll never get a beautiful glow from within effect with a bad product. Thousands of girls worldwide are dreaming of buying the so hyped Mary-Lou Manizer by theBalm but its price usually stops them from doing it. And girls, I have good news for you. I’ve found a cheaper swap for the famous highlighter that is much more affordable and I'm eager to share. Meet the Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Bronzer SPF 15 (SPF included, so great) in the color Reserve Your Cabana (743А).
Don’t be afraid that it’s called a bronzer. I don’t know why they have actually called it a “bronzer” while the product has nothing to do with it though. Anyway, no matter what it’s called, let’s pass over to the product’s review and its content.
1. Size. Everybody knows that the MaryLou Manizer has about 8.5g which will be enough to highlight the cheekbones of your granddaughter but here the Wet n Wild product has 13g!
2. The brand isn’t high-end but the price is so affordable ($5). One more thing that you might be confused about is the color of the product when you take it with a brush. It might seem yellowish, but on the skin it doesn't look yellow at all. It gives a noble delicate glow making your skin look lit from within.
And here are the swatches to prove my words
4. The only drawback that I’ve found about this highlighter is that it dusts during touching with a brush and application.
But for the sum of money I paid for it, I’m ready to forgive this drawback to such a great highlighter.
Overall: I definitely recommend you not pay for the brand name but for the result. And why should you pay for the result more if you can get it for a lesser amount of money?
