I’d like to tell you about the nail polish which turned out to be quite good, especially in terms of color and shine. So, here is the Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish.
I bought it by accident, when I was looking for a nail polish for my wedding manicure. It was affordable, plus it promised incredibly glossy nails. Also, it was the only color that I fancied. I wanted something bold, beautiful and eye-catching, so I bought it.
Please note that the manicure presented in this photos isn’t my wedding manicure. I really used this nail polish for my wedding, and I was happy with its color and durability, but unfortunately I don’t have close-up photos of my hands.
By the way, this color looked gorgeous in combination with my flowers (roses and white mums)
First of all, the choice of the color was determined by the upcoming wedding, but I like red and bordeaux colors pretty much even in my daily makeup.
I think the color would suit almost any girl.
How long does it last?If you don’t do anything with your hands, the color will last about 3 days or more. A white border may appear at the tips, though.
But since not many can afford to do nothing, it’s better to use a top coat and a base coat with this nail polish. I prefer a top coat, which may improve the durability of the nail polish to 3 days or more.
I wash my dishes everyday and to be honest, the top coat doesn’t always rescue my nails. The nail polish starts chipping, as though it becomes wet. I think I should wear gloves when washing dishes.
My first impressions of the nail polish were positive. Plus, I was surprised by its durability. It doesn’t crack or slide off, which is a big plus. It can be applied in multiply coats. Personally I prefer two coats.
Does it dry out?It started thickening 5 or 6 months after opening, and I was only halfway through the bottle. But I have to confess that I don’t paint my nails more often than once a week. I just don’t have enough time for that.
Usually, I do my nails on Sundays, and if my mani gets ruined during the week, I simply apply a glossy transparent nail polish.
In general, the consistency remains unchanged in the first 3-4 months after opening. Then it starts to thicken gradually.

That’s all I need from a nail polish. I haven’t found any drawbacks. It’s a good nail polish for its price.Durability
With a base coat, the nail polish lasts 4 days.
It’s easy to apply and it becomes touch dry pretty quickly. I don’t need more than two coats. No streaks, no patchiness and etc.
In 4 days little chips may appear, but they are easy to fix.
The bottle isn’t big, but it lasts long. The brush is short yet broad and can paint the whole nail plate with one stroke. I love such brushes, they are easy to work with.
The nail polish can be quickly taken off with any remover. There is one nuance, though- the nails become scarlet red after the nail polish is removed. Maybe because the color is highly pigmented. The redness disappear in a day. If you want to get rid of it immediately, wash something with your hands.
Recommended. Easy to apply without streaks. The brush is wide, but paints my nails well.
The nail polish dries almost instantly : 30 seconds (in one coat) and about 3 minutes in two coats.
