Only this year (I’m 26 now by the way) the fact that I have to protect my skin has hit me. I especially need to protect my face from the damaging sun.
At first I started to look through the products really thoroughly. My skin is whimsy, that’s why I tossed all the affordable mass-market products at once.
I decided to check out the Benefit emulsion, which was too tempting for me because of the oil-free formula.

By the way, the ingredients aren’t at all organic.
The package of the product is top notch as usual.
Good quality cardboard, amazing printing, etc.
Inside the box the bottle was safely fixed.

The bottle is a thick glass and it has a faux cork top. The design really reminds me of some vial of a medieval alchemist or a magician.
Under the “cork” you’ll see a pump dispenser.

The emulsion smells of herbs, like some medicine, but for me that’s okay.
The texture is lightweight and creamy at the same time. It doesn’t seem to be thick or anything.
The color is also cream-like and white.
I appreciate the quick sinking in which doesn’t leave any sticky film behind. It takes no more than a minute to sink in and that’s it, I’m ready for my makeup application.
I don’t feel like my makeup sits heavily over this emulsion throughout the day. No creasing or travelling down.
My skin doesn’t react badly to this product and it actually looks hydrated, yet matte.
And don’t be repelled by the price. The product goes an incredibly long way.
