Hello everybody!
I want to tell you about the micellar water by Bioderma in the Sensibio line. There are two actually: Sensibio H2O and Sensibio H2O AR. I will be reviewing the first.
Please note that these are two different micellar waters, as they differ in their ingredients a bit. I also want to draw your attention to the fact that the brand now changed their line name to Crealine.
Outer look:
I have the Sensibio H2O for sensitive skin. It comes in 100 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml. Mine is 250 ml.
The packaging is the cutest ever. It’s chubby and has a pink flip top.
The consistency is liquid like the usual drinking water. It’s transparent and almost unscented. If you shake the bottle, the liquid inside starts to foam.
Product claims:
Bioderma Sensibio H2O (also known as Créaline H2O) is a no-rinse micellar water and makeup remover that gently cleanses makeup, dirt, and debris from the skin without stripping. With its soothing, hypoallergenic formula, it’s no wonder that a bottle of Bioderma is sold every three seconds around the world. Innovative micellar technology cuts through impurities (even waterproof makeup) while maintaining the skin’s moisture balance
Soothing cucumber extract leaves even dry, irritated, and sensitive skin feeling soft and refreshed.
The ingredients of Sensibio H2O micellar water are quite simple. Nothing bad or dangerous. But, as for the second micellar water (AR), there are some other ingredients. Apart the cucumber extract, there’s also the green tea extract, ginkgo biloba leaf extract and aloe vera.
Use:
Sensibio H2O is very pleasant to use. I’m really happy that I can remove my eye make-up with it. Since I use different cleansing gels, I use this water to cleanse my make-up debris solely: for example, the eye pencil on the waterline or wear-proof mascara. This micellar water is able to remove even the waterproof eyeliner easily!
Advantages of the Sensibio H2O:
- easily removes even the waterproof make-up products
- it’s very economical and removes make-up on the first try and I don’t have to use a pile of cotton pads
- hypoallergenic
- paraben-free
- no rinsing required
- alcohol free
To show you the cleansing properties of the Sensibio H2O I applied some L’oreal Alliance Perfect foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear eye pencil, Maybelline eyeshadows, L’oreal Telescopic mascara and Sleek Gloss me lip gloss on my arm. As you can see in the photo, this micellar water removed all the products easily with only one cotton pad.
Overall, I want to say that I like the Sensibio H2O micellar water more than Sebium, which irritated my skin so much when I used it on blemishes or acne, and it wasn’t suitable for eye make-up removing.
Sensibio H2O micellar water is very pleasant in use and it really washes any make-up off well. And the most important thing is that you can remove eye make-up with it, and be sure that no irritations appear.
Of course, it’s pricey, but when it comes to what it does, I think the product is really worth its money.
The biggest bottle will have the most profitable price, by the way.
I hope that my review was helpful!
