Pros: convenient pump-spray, doesn’t give irritation to my eyes, isn’t tingling, peps up and refreshens, pleasant to spray, reduces ruddy skin, refreshens
Cons: no

Good day everybody!

If you have sensitive skin and suffer from frequent redness and flaking, or feel your skin dry and tightened or you just need to refresh your face during the hot day, then the thermal spring water by Avene will become your must have.

If you have never used thermal water before, or just thinking about which one to buy, or think that thermal water is a complete waste of money, then my review is definitely for you.

General information about the product:

Name: Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water

Price: $12 (depends on the place of buying)

Made in France

Product description:

✔️ The spray bottle was covered with a hermetic, tamper-evident seal. There was also a booklet with some information about the use

✔️ There are 3 sizes: 50/150/300 ml. Since it isn’t my first bottle, I always buy the biggest one, as its price is the most profitable.

✔️ This one-of-a-kind product preserves the Thermal Spring Water under sterile conditions throughout its use, thus preserving its soothing and anti-irritating properties. With each spray, the Water is released completely intact, pure and clear, as if you were drawing it directly from the spring

Ingredients:

AVÈNE THERMAL SPRING WATER, NITROGEN

The water is soothing, calming and suitable for sensitive skin, as there are a lot of different active components:

✔️ The spray pump looks usual, but the water feels lightweight whilst application. It’s like an invisible film that covers my skin. The water is absolutely transparent and unscented.

Use:

When I heard about thermal water for the first time, use to think that it was one more thought out sales pitch by cosmetic brands. Once after too much of sunbathing, I noticed that my skin had become red and there was a rash over my body. (It didn’t look like a sunburn, as I always use sunscreen). When I came to the drugstore, the sales rep drew my attention to thermal water, and I decided to give it a go.

And later, I fell in love with it! I can’t imagine my life without this thermal water.

My skin isn’t sensitive, but finicky. It can be allergic to something, or it can be red, irritated or flaky. But, one spray of this water saves the situation on my face and body and all the problems disappear within a few minutes.

This thermal water is my must-have when it’s hot outside. My skin requires freshness, but what if there isn’t a chance to wash my face? And I wear my make-up all the time… And here again, my water saves me. After I spritz it on my face, my skin starts to breathe and I feel fresh and pepped up.

It also comes really handy for long car, train or plane journeys.

When I notice that my skin is about to get flaky, I use this thermal water and the tightening and dryness feeling fades away.

It can be spritzed before you apply your night care cream, serum or facial mask. In general before and after any cosmetic procedure. In the booklet they gave some tips on how to use this product:

Even my husband noted that this thermal water really works and gives fresh feelings and peps up. He always has a bottle in his car. (Girls I think this is a serious factor that a man appreciated this product and is happy to use it).

Even though the product is versatile enough, I’ve found one more way how to use it!

Life hack:

You know, it happens that you need to look your best, but your clothes looks wrinkled (dress/blouse/shirt), then I spritz some of this water on my clothes, and it starts to look fine, and not wrinkled at all!

Overall:

I want to highlight the positive sides of this product:

  • a little goes a long way
  • reduces redness and flaking
  • reduces acne
  • suits every skin type
  • nourishes and refreshes skin
  • brings pepped up feeling
  • can be spritz over make-up (as it won’t smudge it or make it move)
  • versatile
  • causes no allergy or irritation

For me there are no minuses! I know that there are a lot of other thermal water brands, but I’m so happy with this one, that I don’t even have the teeniest desire to try out something new.

I have already bought this a lot of times and will continue buying it, as it’s a genuine must-have for me in any situation in my life!
