Hello there!
I’m a fan of the Clarins brand. Some time ago they released their collection of facial masks and I wanted to try them out. Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied with the results, but first things first.
By the way, the collection presents 3 masks at once: nourishing, hydrating and clarifying. For me, I opted for a nourishing one.
Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask
Product says:
The 10-minute beauty reset for skin that is rough, dull, flaky and dry—this nourishing face mask is enriched with soothing Wild Mango Butter to soften, comfort and renew radiance. Mango oil helps protect skin against dehydration and restore suppleness. Creamy formula delivers moments of pure relaxation for skin and senses.
The mask was packed in a cardboard box. As for the mask itself, it’s packed with a plastic tube that is pleasant to the touch. The color is vibrant and yellow.
It’s all due to the color of the packaging that the mask is always easy to find among all other tubes in my bathroom.
Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask
For me, the aroma of this mask is a combination of the smell of herbs and a subtle aroma of mango. It’s nice and a little bit sweet.
Consistency-wise, the mask is pretty thick and rich in consistency. The color is also nourishing and yellow.
Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask
Use- Before the use of this mask, I remove my makeup, if I wear any, then wash my face with a cleanser and then with a facial scrub.
After cleansing, I apply my toner from Clarins as well. I let it sink for several minutes and after that apply the mask.
Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask
I leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water and apply my night cream over. Sometimes, I could apply the mask with the thinnest layer and leave on till the morning. The results were the same as after 10 minutes of exposure.
Clarins SOS Comfort Face Mask
Results- I can feel some film over my face, which I want to wash off immediately.
In fact, the product is moisturizing but that moisture doesn’t last long, which is obvious since the product is called SOS.
It’s some kind of a Cinderella facial mask when you need immediate results right here. But the product doesn’t show any long-lasting effect.
It doesn’t fight flaking skin or dryness.
I can’t recommend it for purchasing. For me, it’s just like a waste of money.
There are a lot of other facial masks which give the same results that cost several times less.
