Ultrafine powder activates with water for an exhilarating cleansing experience that delivers visible benefits. Instantly skin is awakened, purified, with a refined texture and brighter look. Non-drying, non-stripping formula is gentle enough for use each morning, and preps skin for treatment with Clinique Fresh Pressed™ Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10%.

Fresh means powerful. Pure Vitamin C naturally degrades when exposed to oxygen, so it's most powerful when fresh. Stay-fresh packaging isolates the pure Vitamin C until activation, maintaining its freshness and full power for maximum results.

You can see the whole list of ingredients in the photos below.

The active ingredients the manufacturer mentions:

  • Vitamin C, that helps make your skin glow.

  • Kaolin

  • Salicylic Acid that works like an exfoliant and removes dead skin cells, which helps even out your skin tone and restore the skin texture.

I have normal skin type that neither dries out nor produces excess sebum. It rarely has an oily sheen and only in hot weather. I sometimes have allergies, due to which I have irritations and all that.

My pores are quite narrow. The blackheads are typical.

Some breakouts are possible during my period.

The product I have comes in a kit along with an emulsion, but you can purchase this powder cleanser separately. The kit contains emulsion and 7 packs of powder cleanser meant for a week. The package is classy for Clinique. Inside you can find a leaflet with the product details.

Well, I’ve become a powder cleanser fan since last year, guys. I have them from Sensai, Dior and from a Japan brand beginning with M letter, the name is simply unpronounceable. So, I have something to compare this Clinique product with. Without further delay I’ll say that this cleanser impressed me in a good way. Visually? Yes, it’s one of the reasons too. But the main thing is that IT IS NOT DUSTY. The product is finely and evenly milled and doesn’t look 100% dry. It does have a smell and it reminds me of ascorbic acid. The color is white without any additives.

••• USE •••

  • I love the idea of single use packets. Thus it preserves the Vitamin C well, plus the product is convenient to use while on trips. Also, it’s noteworthy that the powder packets are easy to open with wet hands Smile One more thing is that It won’t work to divide the pack into two parts to use it twice. Don’t even try Smile Firstly, a half is not enough and secondly, you’ll ‘kill’ the Vitamin C. So, what the point? No use to save it.

  • I spill the powder on my hands and add a little bit of warm water. Then I lather it well and apply to my face. The foam is medium-thick and distributes on my skin very well.

  • After that I massage it and try to keep it on my face for a minute as the manufacturer recommends. I count till 60 and wash it off with warm water. Then I remove it with cold water. To tell you the truth, it was hard to make yourself do it, but after I saw the results, I was impressed and now I do it every time. Then I use a toner and further skin care. Everything is great and doesn’t take much time. The most important thing is that it’s really effective.

  • The manufacturer recommends to use this cleanser every morning daily. How do I use it? I apply it mornings every 2 days. The procedure reminds me of scrubbing, so I don’t use it daily. I fear that my skin will be like thin paper. Also, I sometimes use it at night. This way is really effective for me. When I take a shower, I apply this cleanser to my face. My skin is steamed at this moment. After that I leave it on 1 minute and all the pimples that were going to appear, disappear the next morning.

  • Neither dries out my skin nor causes peeling. It performs like a scrub, so it’s not an everyday product.

  • The Vitamin C works effectively yet not aggressively. It evens out my skin tone and counters breakouts. It helps keep my skin even, i.e. it works against blind and white pimples.

  • As for the anti-aging effect. In my opinion, any decent gentle scrub can perform this way. The main task is to remove dead skin cells and make your skin cleaner, smoother and fresher. This cleanser does a good job here.

  • One of my favorite parts is that any further skin care product performs much better after this cleansing powder.

On the official website you can purchase 28 packets for $29.50.

••• RATING •••
