I’m a huge fan of Clinique products, but the sad thing is that I didn’t like this cleanser.

I’m underwhelmed by the brand for the first time.

It retails for about $18.

The smell reminds me of some medicine, but it is pretty neutral. The consistency is viscous.

About the pros:

  1. Convenient pump that squeezes just the right amount of the product.

  2. 200 ml go a really long way.

  3. Serious and well-tried brand. Made in UK.

  4. Can be used for the whole face, including eyes.

I hope that the product will suit somebody’s skin better.

The biggest con that outweighs all the pros is that it dries out my skin, so it won’t be good for combination skin types. Also, it doesn’t help against breakouts. On the plus side, it doesn’t make it worse.

To top it off, it doesn’t remove makeup, which is no surprise. However, some of you might like to know that. The product is not multitasking.

Some of you might probably say that I picked up the wrong option and should better have chosen the Clinique Liquid Mild Facial Soap. But I did purchase the latter also and it was way better than this one, but the results were quite mediocre anyway. Sad

My favorite is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel and I buy it over and over again.

Have a nice day!
