Hey there!
Today I’ll go through a new skincare product of mine. Meet the Clinique Liquid Soap!
The soap is housed in a big plastic matte bottle. I don’t like it, even though it’s sturdy and firm.
My grubby fingerprints are very noticeable on the matte surface of the bottle, plus the silver writing gets scratches very easily. As a result the bottle looks messy and I have a strong desire to use it up as soon as possible and toss it into the bin.
But I love the pump dispenser, even though I’m not much into this package!
It’s sturdy and secure. A single pump is enough to wash my entire face. The pump can be closed by turning it to the right.
I wonder why Clinique called this product soap! Call it a cleansing gel and stop pulling our leg!
The soap is transparent and somewhat stringy. Also, it smells off-putting. I can clearly feel something chemical in it. But I can’t describe it really.
My skin type:
I have normal skin that is prone to dryness in the winter. In summer it’s problematic and oily. However, I don’t have many issues with my skin. I have large pores, acne spots, plus my skin tone is not even.
But the results pleased me well. The product lathers well and cleanses my skin efficiently, so my skin doesn’t feel taut or dry after use.
I especially loved menthol in the ingredients, because it gives an enjoyable cooling sensation. I believe that this cleanser is very good for summer. The soap doesn’t dry my pimples, but overall, my skin looks healthy and clean.
The sad thing is that this product is not a must-have for me. I won’t repurchase it due to the obnoxious smell, bad-quality package and hefty price.
It sells for $17.50.
Thank you for reading my review, guys!
