Hi there!
The brand has become popular somewhere in 2014 shortly after it was founded.
Their philosophy is pretty similar to the renowned The Ordinary. They also provide well-formulated products with simple yet efficient and workable ingredients in the best concentration and have basic packagings.
The name stands for (Cos)-metics and the letters RX, the abbreviation for prescription, which means that their products are something between cosmetics and pharmacy.
The All in One Cream is thought to be a must-have for everyone who wants to get to know this new Korean brand.
Well, it piqued my interest and I couldn’t help it, even though I’m actually pretty finicky towards products with snail secretion in high concentration.
According to the name it has 92% snail secretion.
The brand doesn’t provide exuberant descriptions about their products. The main task of this cream is to moisturize skin, which is exactly what I needed, especially at the beginning of spring when I purchased it. At that time my skin was dehydrated after the winter and had dry patches.
The product is housed in a pretty big tub with 100 ml, which will go a very long way, about 6-7 months. You can also use this cream for other areas.
Inside we can find a protective plastic upper lid that I don’t usually keep, but throw away for the convenience sake.
As I’ve already said, I’m pretty skeptical about snail creams, because they make my combination skin type oily and give it a sticky layer that I don’t like at all.
However, I decided to give this one a shot, as I wanted to do something about my first signs of aging.
I wouldn’t call this cream greasy, but the formula is pretty thick, even though it seems lightweight and semi-sheer with a hardly detectable smell of medicine.
The texture is stingy and feels like a whipped gel when applying. It spreads out on my skin in a pretty thick coat and requires a few minutes to absorb.
After absorbing, it feels so hydrating and moisturizing, as if my skin moisturizes from within. However, the performance depends on your skin condition and your needs.
In cold weather the cream is pretty weightless despite the texture. I even wanted something more efficient, because my dryness was partially still there.
In hot weather with high humidity, the moisture may be superfluous. It soaks in pretty badly and leaves a sticky film, so use it overnight if required.
It performs alright as a makeup base, but again…it all depends on your skin type, weather and your skin concerns. A foundation applies somewhat ‘squeaky’ to this cream and may bleed against oily skin type in a few hours or towards evening.
The cream counters redness, irritations and inflammations pretty well. It makes my skin lighter and more even, but you probably know this feature of snail secretion. I love using it along with the Lanopearl Totara Anti-Acne Serum overnight.
My skin feels really hydrated after such a treatment. As a result, my fine lines and wrinkles are less visible and smoother, but I’m not sure if it counteracts serious skin aging. Nevertheless it’s a nice option to prevent it.
It doesn’t have any potent or aggressive fragrance. The smell is neutral and not off-putting for sensitive noses.
My skin may get used to such an intense skin care. In other words, it may get used to the same moisture level, so the cream stops being efficient. That’s why I prefer taking breaks sometimes.
The price is about $20, which is not a big deal given that the cream lasts really long.
I’ve been using it for about a month on a daily basis as a day and night cream. Then I used it along with other night creams interchangeably, but half of the tub is still full.
The performance and the results won’t disappoint you, if your know your needs and take into account the peculiarities of the gel-like and stringy formula.
Yes, it’s not that multifunctional as advertised, but I definitely recommend you give it a try.
Thanks for your attention and happy shopping!
