Recently I got tired of Korean foaming cleansers and their squeaky clean effect. Sooner or later all Korean beauty fans choose milder and more comfortable skincare products over these. And I’m no exception.
I’ve been stumbling upon this cleanser online for quite a while. It was among bestsellers. One day I couldn’t help it and added it to my cart. General info:
Size: 150 ml
Expires within 12 months.
Made in Korea.
This cleansing gel is encased in a standard tube with a flip top.
The cap is not the best I’ve ever used, because it doesn’t click shut so well. Nevertheless the product doesn’t flow.
Now to the conception of this cleanser.
I guess you all know these Korean foaming cleansers that give us this squeaky clean and sometimes even tightening effect.
Well, it’s not good for our skin. Such cleansers literally wash off the upper protective layer of our skin…
That’s why some girls prefer using milder and nicer cleansers like this one.
It was specifically formulated for people with problem and sensitive skin.
First of all, it’s meant for comfortable cleansing in the morning. It removes sebum and dead skin cells that build up overnight very delicately.
The main advantage of this product is the low pH that is reminiscent of the natural pH of our skin.
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Polysorbate 20, Styrax Japonicus Branch/Fruit/Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Saccharomyces Ferment, Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Betaine Salicylate, Citric Acid, Ethyl Hexanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA
The funny thing is that at the end of the list we can find some irritating ingredients. However, it’s not a deal-breaker for me.
About the product:
It’s quite a thick and transparent gel that smells like a tea tree. Right off the bat, the smell is pretty potent and reminds me of a pharmacy. It’s really noticeable when applying.
It goes a really long way, so you can use it for months.
It lathers very easily. The foam is medium-thick, but not that rich as with other Korean foaming cleansers.
In the morning time: Gently massage on wet skin with Good Morning Mildly Acidic Cleanser. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water. Start your morning fresh everyday!
In the day and night time: After your first wash with your normal cleanser, work Good Morning Mildly Acidic Cleanser into a lather. Gently massage on wet skin and rinse thoroughly with tepid water.
My experience with the product:
This stuff lives up to the hype! Now I get it. The cleaning is so soft and gentle, that my skin feels really comfortable after washing. As a result, it seems like I do nothing with my skin, but it’s clean.
The product is thought to be used in the morning, but I use it whenever I want.
It works especially good when I have breakouts on my skin. I mean it doesn't make it worse or anything.
The cleanser matches every skin type, even the most problem and sensitive ones.
Also, it’s perfect for those who are not really into Korean foams because they make their skin tighter and drier.
The only reservation I have is about the ingredients, but this product works and does its job really well. So it’s totally worth a look.
