I feel neutral about dr. Jart+ skincare products, as I’ve tried many of them but never wanted to buy anything again. And yet this brand surprised me this time with 3 kinds of melting eye patches: against dark circles, hyaluronic and these lifting ones.
Due to high concentration of active ingredients, they promise a WOW effect. Well, let’s check them out!
Product description:
It is an intensive firming spot mask improve wrinkles, and overall saggy areas.The Slice Cream Firming Patch melts into the skin for the intensive care, andalso moisturize the skin as well as preventing moisture loss. The Wrinkle ZonePatch contains adenosine to provide suppleness to the skin.
Design:The patches look really fun. They come housed in a disposable foil sachet. It’s bright violet with a girl’s face showing where to put the patch.
The packaging is easy to rip off. It’s divided into two halves. The step 1 patches and the step 2 patches are stored separately.
The upper part contains the very specialty of the product - the melting patches. These are kinda weird to the touch and resemble a thin film. They are see through, absolutely dry and feel harsh. They are the first to be put on your face, and I wouldn’t say they stick to it very well.
The lower part contains the step 2 patches soaked with active ingredients. These are to cover the first ones. They are pretty big and soft, enriched with a white and creamy emulsion. These patches are easy to adhere and they cover the first patches completely. You can move with them on, without being afraid that they would come off. The scent is creamy and neutral, I barely smell it.

How to apply them
The patches can be applied to any face zone with wrinkles. The directions of use suggest we use them in the under eye area or on nasolabial folds. I chose the first option, as I have mimic wrinkles there.
The patches must be applied onto clean and dry skin with dry hands (it’s really important!). I did so, and covered them with the step 2 patches.
Time: 10-20 minutes. I left them on for 20 minutes. Whenever I touched the patches and pressed with my fingers on them, there was a strange sensation, as if there was water under the step 2 patches.
It was really unusual, as the first patches did look and feel dry at first. Yeah, dr. Jart+ can surprise.Wait, until the lower patches are dry, they are responsible for the effect.
After you take them off, you have to massage the rest of the emulsion onto skin and enjoy the effect. I do highlight once again that the patches must be applied with dry hands only, otherwise they will start melting immediately after contact with water.
Effect:
The patches leave a thick layer of emulsion behind. I was sure it wouldn’t soak in and would make my skin shine. But to my surprise, the emulsion absorbed within a few minutes without any fat film.
The patches nourish and moisturize my skin. I can’t say anything about other areas, but they improved my skin under eyes, leaving it soft and smooth.
As anti-wrinkles solution:
There was no super effect against wrinkles, and yet the patches did make them less visible. I used the patches in the morning after a party, and my look became much fresher. I even had an impression that the patches highlight the skin though they never promised they would.
The patches didn’t cause allergy or prickling. On the contrary, there was a pleasant cooling effect after them.
Conclusion: Overall, I’m happy with these refreshing Focuspot patches and I will definitely buy another package to try on my nasolabial folds. Highly recommended!
