I have two travel sized jars 15ml each of DayWear by Estee Lauder. Considering the fact that I was using this cream only in the morning, I used them up within 1.5 months.
This cream is aimed to take care of normal and combination skin. It is to give moisture, protect from sun damage and defend against the signs of premature aging. The full sized product of 50ml costs around $55.
Ingredients:
The cream has a light green-ish casting. It has usual cream consistency yet this one isn’t at all thick or fatty. I find it easy to apply and spread over my face. Usually I apply a thin layer of the cream which soaks in very quickly.
The smell of the product is pleasant and fresh, it reminds me of a cucumber’s smell. I can feel it only while application, and since I apply it in the morning that scent gives me a good pick-me-up effect.
On my combination skin the product soaks in fully leaving no residue or oily film.
It gives me good moisture and smoothes out the small creases and wrinkles. It really makes my skin nourished and pleasant to the touch. The pick-me-up effect is very noticeable.
The product is also a good facial primer. No foundation would crease or travel down if applied over the DayWear. What’s more, my skin doesn’t become oily during the day, which is important.
Well, I have only positive things to say about this cream. During the time of use, I haven’t found any significant cons about this product.
It suits nicely to my combination skin type.
