For a long time, I was willing to try out the lip care line from Fresh because many bloggers praise it. Once I had a chance, I bought an essential minimum for me.
And today I want to tell you about their lip polish.
I can’t say that my lips are problematic in winter. Some time ago they were a disaster, that’s true but I found a product that literally brought my lips back to life. However, chapped and dry lips are normal for winter, especially when I use thick and matte lipsticks.
This lip polish smells of burnt sugar and something else which I don’t find pleasant. The consistency is thick and not very easy to pick up:
The application is even worse - the product creases on my lips. There aren’t many of those exfoliating bits and I have to rub my lips a lot to distribute it and polish my skin.
When I wash the product off, it seems that my lips are supple and polished but this effect vanishes once I apply lipstick. This effect is gained because of a greasy film that the product leaves behind but once it vanishes, I say hello to my chapped lips again!
Earlier before, I used to have a lip exfoliator from Lush and it could easily fight my chapped and flaking lips. I think I repurchase that one. As for this product, I really doubt that I would ever use it up one day.
It’s pricey but wasteful.
