I keep on testing Korean skincare products and today I’d like to share with you my experience with the Frudia Citrus Brightening Serum.
The design of their whole range is bright and eye-catching.
The color of a bottle depends on the key ingredients of a product.
As for this serum, the bottle is made of heavy yellow glass, because the range is designed for skin radiance. The key ingredient is Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract (71%) here.
The pump dispenser works alright and doesn’t ‘spit out’ the product, but gives just the right amount.
By the way, the pump can also be removed, which is convenient, because I will have an opportunity to use it till the end.

The serum has a pretty liquid gel-like texture that has a milky-white color and incredibly nice scent of tangerine sweets or an ice cream.
I apply 2-3 pumps to my face and neck. The serum applies to my skin easily, plus it absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling. You can use further skincare products in about 30-40 seconds already.
As for the performance, I loved it! It has become a real lifesaver this summer. I used this serum alone without any additional creams, because I didn’t want my skin to feel cakey in such hot weather.
The product nailed it! It moistures, nourishes and softens my skin very well.
I haven’t noticed any extra glow or radiance, but using it daily I noticed that my cheeks became less red in the morning. Plus, my skin looks generally refreshed.
I used this serum mornings and nights. Sometimes I applied a cream after that, but I mostly didn’t. It doesn’t conflict with further skincare or makeup products. The foundation applies to this serum perfectly. The only thing is that after using it alone with the Pixi Glow Tonic with acids, I had a tingling sensation for a while, but then it disappeared.
Frudia Citrus Brightening Serum is a nice product for everyday use that ensures visible results.
To top it off, the texture and the scent won’t leave you indifferent.
Even my ‘bad ass’ husband loves this sweet aroma and uses this stuff now and then.
