Kiehls Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask
I have a mini of it, though I know that the full size looks exactly the same but offers 100ml of the product.
The jar presents some product information like the list of ingredients, description and instructions on how to use it.
The mini doesn’t provide us with any inner liners to protect the product from the top cap. That’s why when I open the jar I can see a beautiful amber gel mask as it is.
Here the magic doesn’t disappear. If you look very close at the mask, you’ll see a lot of different inclusions. This is that very calendula extract.
It looks mesmerizing, charming and aside that the mask is beautifully scented. The aroma isn’t potent and I can’t say that it chases me. It only makes me feel relaxed, helping to enjoy every moment of having this mask on my skin.
I follow the maker’s advice and apply this mask over my clean and dry skin. It leave it on for 5 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.
I want to draw your attention to the fact that once the mask is applied, I can experience a subtle pleasant cooling sensation, which gently kind of cuddles my skin, leaving it soft and relaxed.
And this feeling doesn’t leave me until the moment I wash the mask off.
After rinsing off, my skin doesn’t feel like dry or tightened. Honestly, I don’t even have a desire to apply any other other skin care products after this mask, because my skin already feels comfortable and supple.
The spending of the product is really minimal. So, I guess I'll definitely buy a bigger size later and carry on treating my skin with this pleasure.
