Facial masks are my favorite care products. The more of them I have - the better I feel.
Yes To Cucumber Calm Care Soothing Facial Mask, Cucumber is my new one, but I already love it so very much.
The packaging is made of white plastic, the jar is sealed with a cellophane membrane. The top closes tightly so you can be sure that the mask will not leak out or dry before the expiration date.
I’m not very good with ingredients so I will write them down below:
Cucumber a soothing vegetable extract.
Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Glycerin Alcohol Denatured, Propanediol, Sorbitol Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Water, Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Water, Menthol, Allantoin, Galactoarabinan Beta-Glucan, Algin, Heptyl Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Benzoic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum).
The consistency resembles a thick nourishing cream. It has a light grey shade, when it dries the color doesn't change.
I apply it on to a clean face. Usually I apply all masks with a flat synthetic brush to economize the product. They say that the mask should be applied to cleansed face avoiding eyes and mouth. Leave on 5 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water or with a damp wash cloth. I usually leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
Despite the white clay in the ingredients of this mask, it doesn’t tighten the skin when it dries - I can speak, smile and laugh while it’s on. It washes away easily. I don’t need any sponges or nets.
The effect after using it is immediately seen - skin has an even tone, red spots disappear, post acne spots aren’t so visible, the skin is moisturized and nourished - and there’s absolutely no tightening feeling! If you have any irritation on your skin, the mask will help to calm it down.
The product is very economical - I’ve been using it for almost 1,5 month once or twice a week and I’ve used only about a third.
