I’ve heard a lot about the Kiehl’s brand and there were mostly positive reviews. That’s why walking by the Parisian duty-free shops I couldn’t pass by their corner.
One of the buys was this Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. This is the very product that I started to get to know with the brand Kiehl’s.
Size: my mini is 30ml, though the brand also offers tubes of 75 and 150 ml.
Price: I received this product as a present for purchasing their facial and eye moisturizers and a cleanser. On the official site, they retail 75 ml for $16 and 150 ml for $23.

Packaging: The Ultimate Strength Hand Salve has a typical for hand cream packaging. Soft tube with a nozzle dispenser.
The mini looks simple, but the full-size packaging would be ideal for me, because I adore flip-top caps, when I don’t have to screw and unscrew it.
Aroma- The product has a light and pleasant aroma which isn’t chasing. I can even say that it smells like a “cream”, scented with difficult to make out herbal notes. At least this is how I feel that smell.
Consistency- This Kiehl's cream is rather thick and greasy. At first, I was even sure that I wouldn’t like it, because I love more lightweight textures for my hands.
But when I applied the product over my skin and massaged it in, I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly it sank in, leaving comforting sensation behind.
Use and results- I was using this cream for a month maybe and for my hands, a small pea-sized bit was enough, even though my skin is dry and flaking from time to time. As I’ve already mentioned above, the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve doesn’t take long to soak in. It doesn’t leave any nasty sensation behind.
Within a few days of use, I stopped experiencing dryness of flakey skin on my hands.
As usual, my husband put his eye on this cream as well. And his hands are a disaster. Sometimes his skin looks like flint-paper because it’s flaking and chapped. I won’t sing praises here and tell you that no miracle happened, but I have to assure you that we’ve never seen such good results before.
