Recently I got a package with a few samples from Laneige. There were two bestsellers from the brand, namely the overnight sleeping mask and this lip mask. The latter I’ll be writing about.
It’s very popular worldwide and counts as the best moisturizing lip product. My expectations were a bit high, understandably. But in the end, this product managed to gain my trust, even though it wasn’t as nourishing as I expected.
Outer appearance:
Since I only own a sample, I don’t think I can judge the design. I’ll just say that my sample comes housed in a tiny jar with a screw top. The full-size product has a special scoop. I use a cotton swab instead.

That’s what the lip mask initially looked like. It’s a bit messy now.
This is a pink creamy lip balm. The fragrance is strong. It smells of berries or like bubble gum and sweets.
After application, the lip mask starts melting, gliding all over the lips.
It looks like a regular lip balm, and its pink color is invisible.

My personal impressions:
This is a very good lip product, which is perfect for moisturizing your lips both during the day and overnight. But there is something it lacks...Even though the mask provides moisture, it doesn’t heal my lips or speed up the healing process.
If you don’t have many problems like chapped lips and only need a moisturizing lip balm, this one is worth a try. However, if you face such problems you’ll definitely need a stronger and thicker treatment.
