In my opinion, the Koreans are the best in skin care for now, so that it gets really hard for European brands to compete with them. Skin care is very efficient in Korea and now we can try different products we have never even heard about.
Today I’d like to share my thoughts on the wonderful Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. My lips are overly dry at any time of the year, so they have to be moisturized all the time! Therefore I’ve decided to buy this lip balm.

Packaging
The mask was wrapped in a paper packaging, which I had thrown away, that’s why I’ve taken the product description and directions from the website.
The mask itself comes in a pink plastic pot with a gradient coloring. At the bottom you can see the real color of the mask, which is also pink 
The screw-on cap is fuss-free. The product has a white plastic film that keeps the contents safe. There is a silicone spatula in a transparent plastic bag included.
I’ve been using the spatula for quite some time, but then I’ve decided to use my fingers instead, because it is more convenient for me.
Texture and smell
The product reminds me of a body butter. The texture is a bit sturdy, but it comes out with a spatula or my fingers easily.
As for the smell, it is hard to describe it. The lip mask smells like flowers, very sweet and bitter at the same time, which startled me. When applying I feel the smell of ozone. Fancy that!

Step 1
Before going to bed, apply a liberal amount with the spatula.

Application
The mask gives a light nice pink color to my lips and a delicious glow. I apply it before I go to bed massaging it slightly for a minute or two.
Then I sleep soundly knowing that my lips would look much better in the morning. In the morning I don’t wash it off, because my lips don’t feel sticky. Although I advise you to remove the residue with a tissue.
My lips are moisturized and not flakey. However, I’d like to note that the product won’t help you against some serious problems with your lips, but it prevents them from being chapped.
How long does the effect last?
In the morning my lips feel silky smooth, but it doesn’t last long, unfortunately. If your lips are fine, the effect is noticeable for half the day.
The lip mask would by no means replace a regular lip care, so use lip balms or lip oils also. Nevertheless the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask would be a great help for your lips. Therefore I definitely give 5 stars to the product!
