Hi!
I’d like to review the Korean face foam Laneige Multi Cleanser which I got in samples as a gift from an online store.
Price for the full size tube: $23
Not a product on budget, I’d say.
Description:
This bestselling Multi Cleanser lathers richly for an invigorating, multiaction cleansing experience. Infused with skin-nourishing papaya, this cleanser sweeps away dead surface skin, while natural cellulose gently removes impurities and melts away sunscreen and makeup. Skin appears instantly brighter.
Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, PEG-32, Potassium Hydroxide, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Laureth-1 Phosphate, Cellulose, Lauric Acid, Lauryl Phosphate, Papain, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Lactobacillus / Water Hyacinth Ferment, Mannitol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Lauramide DEA, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Disodium EDTA, Polymethyl Methacrylate, PEG-75, Fragrance.
Consistency: very thick. Add a bit of water to turn it into a thick and large foam.
Smell: It reminds me of men’s perfume. I’d say it’s irritating because it lingers after face wash.
What it removes?
Absolutely everything, from BB cream to mascara. There is no trace of makeup after it.
What I liked:
- pleasant formula
- removes even long-lasting makeup
- makes pores squeaky clean
- a little bit goes a long way (one sample lasts for 6 washes)
What I didn’t like:
- too drying
- the smell lingers
- makes my skin flaky, and no cream can help against it
- the full-size tube is a bit pricey, IMO
There are more pros than cons, and yet I wouldn’t recommend this product especially for dry and normal skin. Maybe this would suit oily skin, but considering the price, I think it’s possible to find a cheaper alternative.
