Hello dear readers!

I really adore the products from L`Occitane but their price is usually so high that I hardly ever buy them. But, sometimes they can be found discounted or with a special offer. This is how I bought this set last year while traveling around Italy.

It included 3 full-sized products and I bought it 50% off, I mean I paid 10 euros instead of 20! The set includes this hand cream, a bar of soap and perfume.

I’d never tried anything from this collection before but there were testers available, so I sniffed them and had a chance to assess their gorgeous rose aroma to the fullest.

Today I want to share my thoughts on the hand cream which is called L'Occitane Rose ET Reines.

Product info:

🌹 Name: L'occitane Roses Et Reines Hand Cream

🌹 Place of purchase: L'occitane counter

🌹 Price: $24 for this item

🌹 Size: 30ml

🌹 Made in France

🌹 Shelf life: 12 months

About the packaging:

Since I got it from the set, the product was packed with a sturdy and big cardboard box which had all 3 products inside.

The back of the box states all the necessary product info - the list of ingredients, shelf life, and purpose.

The same info is indicated on the hand cream tube itself.

All the hand creams from the brand (regardless of the collection) look the same way - they are packed with soft tubes, which are super handy, especially when the cream is almost used up.

I dislike the 8-angled plastic cap here because it isn’t pleasant for my fingers.

Alas, the product wasn’t sealed with tape inside.

The packaging of this cream is bright and is done in vibrant crimson shades, which is a good association with the gentle and beautiful flowers.

They are here on the tube and really eye-catching.

In fact, the cream is nice to use and given its weight (30g all in all), it’ll be perfect for traveling.

About the product

The color is off-white.

It’s a really lightweight cream, which is so airy in consistency that reminds me of some fluid. It melts on my skin quickly, leaving no sticky film or greasy finish behind.

This comes to almost all the hand creams from the brand that I’ve tried. They are perfect to use before leaving your house, especially in winter. I can be sure that my clothes won’t be stained with the cream.

Besides, the product is also pretty easy to wash off with water.

Aroma

It’s charming - the cream smells of true roses, which is so pleasant and not potent. It smells like a bouquet of roses. By the way, this smell lingers to my skin and stays put for some time after the application.

Here are several extracts in the formula which give the product this charming aroma. There’s also shea butter here, as well as the sunflower oil. In fact, the list of ingredients is rich but even though it costs more, it still has some synthetic ingredients which may cause allergic reactions.

About the results

The cream sinks in quickly, leaving a silky, soft and pleasant finish on my hands.

However, if your hand skin is chapped or flaking, the product won’t do anything about that. It feels like it lacks nutrition.

In fact, the product is good but I still believe that they could nail the formula and enrich it with better components.

I don’t want to splurge only for the brand and sounding promo promises.
