This cream has been advertised by many beauty boxes I’m subscribed to. Try it, they said. It’s a moisturizer by a well-known brand, with your favorite formula and color. I even considered buying it but then I got a pile of miniatures.
At this moment, I have already consumed most of them, almost half of the full-size jar, so I think I can share my honest opinion about it, and it would be informative.
The appearance is nice (both if we speak of full-size and minis). Solid plastic, protective lid. High-End, no doubt.
Everything is so blue and transparent like a sip of fresh water my skin needs so much.
But what’s in that water?

Honestly, when you’re using such a pure face gel, you don’t want to be distracted from it, even by fragrance. This gel is supposed to be clean and give moisture.
But the makers of this disagree, that’s why this gel isn’t fragrance free. Moreover, it smells like a cheap sea breeze air freshener. So I was very upset by this “expectation vs reality” situation.
But the fragrance alone can’t scare me off. Plus the formula is great here! The gel is pure and transparent (which I can’t be happier about, because who needs artificial dyes here). The gel is cool to the touch and easy to spread, and it promises to absorb instantly, but...But it doesn’t happen. At all.
Effect: I tried to use this during the hot summer, cool summer, warm fall and that odd time of the year we call October. The result was always the same: a bit of a moisturizing effect and sticky shining skin. And that’s on my dry to normal skin. I shudder to think what it could have done to those with oily skin.
The summer was the worst, of course, that’s why I decided to give this another chance when the next season comes. But nevertheless, it gave nothing but sticky, non-absorbable film.
The gel can’t be used under makeup because all makeup products applied over it wear off after 2 hours. It happens quite rarely with me.If only this could be used overnight. But no, I have an overwhelming desire to wash my face because I literally stick to the pillowcase.
It isn’t simply sticky. It’s horrendously sticky, as though its goal is not to moisturize but to work as a glue.
There is another peculiarity of this gel, which makes it impossible to be used overnight. Remember the sea breeze air freshener? The smell is so annoying that it makes me sick before I fall asleep.
Bummer.
There is a single positive side, though. It does not clog my pores.

I’m not gonna ask you why you need it, I’ll just say that this can be easily found on the official internet store of the brand for $29, if you fiercely want to waste your money.
The bottom line: total fail. Disgusting stickiness hidden behind a beautiful appearance.
