Hey everyone!
I received this product as a little gift from my friend.
Actually I wouldn’t have bought this body lotion myself, knowing the ingredients, but anyway, thanks.
Design:
The lotion comes in a quite handy bottle with pump dispenser. On the back you can find product information and the list of ingredients.
Formula: Creamy and oily.
Scent:
It reminds me of baby cream for some reason. The scent is pretty long-lasting and overwhelming, not the kind I like, which is why I’ll count it as a drawback.
Ingredients:
Liquid paraffin plus all these silicones and parabens. I wouldn’t have bought this myself!
Even though I instantly disliked the ingredients, I decided to give this lotion a try.
It has a medium thickness and can be easily distributed all over my skin. But it absorbs slowly, leaving an oily film (even on the dry skin on my legs). So it’s just washed off during a shower.
There was a time in my life when my hands were very dry, so I decided to try out a few body lotions.
After I applied this one, the dryness seemed to be gone. But after I washed my hands, the dryness was back. Visually, it has moisturized my skin, but when the paraffin was washed off, all the dry spots were visible again.
Argan oil saved my skin back then.
Pros:
Cons:
- ingredients
- takes a lot of time to absorb
- useless against dry skin.
Conclusion:
I didn’t like the Neutrogena Intense Repair Body Balm. I tried to use it in different seasons, but I couldn’t find a way to make it useful.
